What has been happening at the Sansthan and at SAFAL Nasha Mukti Kendra.
Additional beds and a separate counselling hall are now available at the Bypass Piprahi Road campus, increasing the number of residents we can admit at one time.
Students, staff and volunteers walked from the Nagar Panchayat office to the bus stand carrying the message “Avoid Drugs, Save Life”.
General health checkup, blood tests and liver screening were arranged for residents and their family members at the centre.
A tailoring and electrical repair batch has started for residents who have completed the treatment phase, and for young people from nearby villages.
A morning yoga session was conducted at the centre for all residents and staff members, followed by a short talk on daily routine.
Thirty-four families attended the counselling day at the centre, where counsellors explained the treatment plan and answered questions.
An awareness programme was held with school students, including a poster competition and a pledge against substance abuse.
